Grace has worked with a variety of patient populations and enjoys collaborating with them to achieve their goals and beyond! She has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries, motor vehicle injuries and TMJ disorders. During your sessions, you can expect hands-on treatment in combination with exercise and education to help you get better in the short and long term. Grace has also taken additional courses to offer IMS and clinical pilates as part of her practice.

Ashley Jung is a Registered Acupuncturist with a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, holistic wellness, and patient-centered care. She completed her Diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Tzu Chi International School of TCM in Vancouver and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia.

Ashley takes a gentle and individualized approach to care, recognizing that each person’s body, experiences, and wellness journey are unique. Her clinical training includes acupuncture, Tuina, Gua Sha, cupping, auricular acupuncture, facial acupuncture, and scalp acupuncture. She has received training in both Chuang’s Scalp Acupuncture and Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture, as well as Facial Acupuncture & Massage and the 4-Needle (Sa-am) Technique.

Her connection to traditional medicine began long before her professional practice. During her education and training, Ashley spent her school breaks in Korea assisting practitioners in a traditional Korean medicine setting, where she was introduced to acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and massage. These experiences, together with the guidance of a teacher and mentor who has deeply influenced her journey, shaped her understanding of healing and the role of the practitioner.

One of the teachings that has stayed with Ashley is the profound relationship between the mind and the body. Her mentor taught her that caring for our physical health allows us to live more fully and ultimately serve others and the greater good. He also instilled in her a traditional Eastern understanding of the body as a whole and complete system, with an inherent and remarkable capacity to heal, restore, and regenerate. Rather than seeing the practitioner as someone who simply “fixes” the patient, Ashley was taught to see the practitioner as someone who helps create the conditions for the body to access its own healing potential. This philosophy continues to shape the practitioner she is striving to become.

Ashley’s personal Buddhist practice has further deepened her appreciation for mindfulness, compassion, balance, and being fully present with others. These values naturally inform the way she approaches patient care: with patience, humility, respect, and genuine attentiveness.

With experience in healthcare communication and patient support, Ashley values creating a treatment environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and supported. She is fluent in English and Korean and is committed to continually learning and deepening her practice.

For Ashley, acupuncture is not simply about addressing symptoms, but about supporting the whole person and helping create space for greater balance and well-being. She hopes to meet each patient with warmth, presence, and an open mind, while continuing to grow toward the kind of practitioner her teachers have inspired her to become.
